What is NestOPS?

NestOPS is a complete digital society management platform engineered specifically for standalone apartment buildings, focusing on financial transparency, life safety, and digital governance.

Is NestOPS built for large gated communities?

No. We stripped away the enterprise bloat. NestOPS is highly optimized for the unique needs of standalone apartments.

Do residents need to download an app from the Play Store?

No! NestOPS is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You simply visit nestops.in, click 'Install to Home Screen,' and it functions exactly like a native app without taking up massive storage space on your phone.

Is our society's financial data secure?

Absolutely. NestOPS uses enterprise-grade security. We do not hold your money (all transactions are direct bank-to-bank via UPI), and your data is isolated using strict security rules.

How are tenants handled vs. owners?

During registration, admins can assign users to specific flats as either 'Owners' or 'Tenants'. Tenants can pay bills, receive safety alerts, and use forums just like owners.

How does the Seismic Alert work?

NestOPS runs a background monitor connected to global USGS (Geological Survey) earthquake data. If an epicenter is detected near your building's geographic coordinates, it instantly pushes a critical alert to all residents.

What is the SOS Alert feature?

In a medical or security emergency, any resident can trigger a one-tap SOS alert from their dashboard. This instantly broadcasts an emergency notification to all other residents in the building to get immediate help.

Can the President broadcast urgent messages?

Yes. The Admin can use the Broadcast feature to push important alerts (like 'Water supply cut at 2 PM'). These appear as a high-visibility scrolling banner right at the top of every resident's app.

RESIDENT: How do I pay my monthly maintenance?

When a bill is generated, it appears on your dashboard. Tap 'Pay' to instantly open your preferred UPI app (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm). The money goes directly to the society's bank.

RESIDENT: Do I have to manually type the 12-digit UTR number?

No! After paying via UPI, simply take a screenshot of the success screen. Upload it to NestOPS, and our system will automatically scan and extract the UTR number for you to submit.

RESIDENT: Do I get a receipt after I pay?

Yes. Once the payment is submitted and verified, NestOPS automatically generates and sends a digital Invoice to the resident for their records.

RESIDENT: Can I see what the society is spending money on?

Yes! Total financial clarity is our promise. Residents have access to a Monthly Financial Breakup widget to clearly see the society's recorded expenditures and remaining balances.

RESIDENT: Can I pay my personal electricity or property tax bills here?

Yes! Your admin can configure custom 'Utility Links' on your dashboard. You can click these links to directly access your local power, water, or municipal property tax payment portals.

RESIDENT: Can I pay using any UPI app?

Yes, the UPI intent flow works with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, CRED, and all major UPI applications installed on your phone.

PRESIDENT: How do I generate monthly maintenance bills?

Using the Billing Centre, admins can generate bills for all flats in just a few clicks. It is completely automated and eliminates the need for messy Excel sheets.

PRESIDENT: Can we add custom charges based on water usage?

Yes! NestOPS supports customized billing options. Admins can log specific water meter readings for each flat, and the system will calculate the variable charges alongside standard maintenance.

PRESIDENT: How do we collect funds for building renovations or festivals?

Admins can use the 'Donations'. You can set a target amount for a renovation or Ganesh Chaturthi, and residents can contribute directly through the app with a progress bar tracking the goal.

PRESIDENT: How do I handle elderly residents who pay in cash?

While we encourage UPI, admins can manually log offline cash or cheque payments into the NestOPS dashboard on behalf of residents. The digital ledgers remain perfectly synced.

PRESIDENT: How do we track vendor payments and expenses?

Admins can use the 'Record Expenditure' tool to log payments made to watchmen, electricians, or cleaning staff. This automatically updates the society's financial health dashboard.

PRESIDENT: Does the system send automated monthly breakups?

Yes. Admins can instantly broadcast the month-end financial breakup to all residents, ensuring zero disputes about where the society funds are going.

PRESIDENT: What if someone uploads a fake UPI screenshot?

Admins have full control. In the Billing Centre, you can review submitted UTRs against your actual bank statement before marking an invoice as 'Cleared'.

PRESIDENT: Can we track building assets like generators or lifts?

Yes, the Asset Maintenance module allows admins to log servicing dates and repair costs for all shared building equipment.

How do we replace physical society meetings?

NestOPS features built-in Audio Meetings. The President can schedule a virtual meeting room right in the app, allowing residents to discuss building issues from the comfort of their own flats.

How do residents discuss daily issues without WhatsApp?

Use the built-in Forums and Threads. Residents can create topics (e.g., 'Parking Issue' or 'Plumber Recommendation') to keep conversations organized and searchable.

What if I don't have time to read a long forum debate?

We built 'Nest AI' directly into the forums. With one click, the AI will read the entire thread and give you a 3-bullet-point summary of the argument and the proposed solution.

Who can create new forum threads?

Both Admins and verified Residents can create threads to foster an open, digital community for the standalone building.

Can we get local news in the app?

Yes! The dashboard includes a Regional News widget based on your building's geographic coordinates, keeping the society updated on local civic issues.

How do we manage utility links?

The President can set up and customize direct web links to the local municipal corporation, electricity board, and water board in the settings, which instantly appear on all resident dashboards.

Is there a limit to how many residents can join a building?

NestOPS is optimized for standalone buildings, but it can comfortably handle all flats, tenants, and family members residing within your specific apartment complex.

Can I use NestOPS in dark mode?

Yes, NestOPS features a beautiful, native dark mode to reduce eye strain, which can be toggled in your profile settings.
